The Chelsea Recreation Center in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, New York, is one of the largest and most well-equipped community sports centers in the city. The 56,500-square-foot facility offers a variety of facilities for all age groups. Among the available sports activities are a 25-yard six-lane swimming pool, a gymnasium with basketball and volleyball courts, weight rooms, a dance studio, a game room, and art classes. How to book
1. Chelsea Recreation Center Membership:
- To become a member, complete the registration form and come to the center with a valid government ID.
- The annual membership fee is $150 for adults ages 18-62.
2. Pool and Sports Court Reservations:
- You must obtain a permit to reserve the basketball courts or pool.
- Those under 18 can obtain a permit for free.
- Those 18 and older must pay a permit fee.
