Blacktown International Sportspark (BISP) is located in the RootyHill area of Sydney and is a multi-purpose sports complex with excellent facilities; it also hosted some of the 2000 Summer Olympics. The park provides professional facilities for a variety of sports, from general and amateur sports to hosting professional teams and events.

Sports that can be played at the complex include athletics, baseball, softball, soccer, Australian rules football (AFL), cricket and goalkeeping. The complex also hosts national and state teams such as the Sydney Blue Sox, Western Sydney Wanderers FC and NSW Breakers, and provides the highest quality facilities for training and competition. It aims to provide sports for all levels from beginner to professional and is considered the core of sport in Western Sydney.

How to book

1. Visit the ‘Makeabooking’ page on the complex’s website.
2. Complete the ‘Booking Enquiry Form’ or email it to sports.park[at]blacktown[dot]nsw[dot]gov[dot]au.
3. Fill in the form with information such as the name of the organisation/group, type of activity, date and time, number of participants, type of pitch (turf or synthetic) and more.
4. Once submitted, the complex will send you a quote or initial confirmation; your booking will be confirmed once you have paid the rental fee and signed the terms and conditions.
5. For use of the turf or synthetic pitches, you will also need to complete the ‘Synthetic and turf field bookings’ form and provide documentation such as a public liability certificate.
