White City Tennis in Sydney’s Paddington area is a prominent sports complex established in 1922 and is recognised as one of the premier tennis centres in Australia. With facilities including six floodlit artificial tennis courts, a professional club, a sports shop and instructional programmes for all ages and skill levels, the complex is an ideal destination for tennis enthusiasts. Instructional programmes include private lessons, group lessons, special programmes for children and adults, and weekly tournaments.

Programs & Activities

1. Private Lessons: These are one-on-one lessons that focus on the technical and tactical aspects of tennis. Classes range in price from AUD$65 to AUD$130 and are available 7 days a week.
2. Adult Programs: These programs are designed for levels ranging from beginner to advanced, and include group classes at beginner, beginner-intermediate, intermediate, intermediate+ and advanced levels. There is also a morning coaching program for those interested.
3. Kids Programs: For children aged 5 to 12, there are special training programs called "Hot Shots" that include skill drills and group games.
4. Red Ball Challenge: This is a competition for young players, using red balls and smaller courts.
5. Junior Super Series: This league is designed for young players and provides an opportunity to compete at different levels.
6. UTR Open: This competition is open to adult and youth players of varying skill levels and is based on the UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) global rating system.
7. School Holiday Camps: During school holidays, camps are held for children and teenagers that include technical training, team games and recreational activities.
8. Special Events: White City Tennis Complex hosts special events such as birthday parties and corporate events that include coaching, tournament-style competitions, appearances by tennis stars and catering services.
