Downsview Park Sports Centre is a large sports and recreation complex in north Toronto, part of Downsview Park. It offers a variety of sports and activities, from soccer on large 11-a-side fields and indoor arenas, to basketball, volleyball, handball (in the form of ballhockey), parkour, bodybuilding, climbing, and go-karting.

How to book

1. To reserve a field or space at Hangar, you must contact the reservations department by phone or email.
2. The Hangar website has an “availability calendar” for indoor and outdoor fields that is updated weekly.
3. If the time you want is available on the calendar, you can request a reservation.
4. To reserve a “field/sports space,” you must complete the online Field Rental Request Form — this is a form specifically for football/sports requests.
5. For “spot rentals,” payment is required at the time of booking.
6. For “seasonal/long-term” contracts, a 25% deposit is required, with the balance due upon contract.
7. For long-term space reservations, proof of liability insurance is required.
8. There is also a specific safety policy for using the outdoor space during thunderstorms or inclement weather.
