High Park features baseball and soccer fields, several public tennis courts, and open-air play facilities such as hiking, biking, and nature trails that appeal to both group and individual sports enthusiasts.

Toronto High Park FC – Adult Social League: There is also an adult soccer league that is recreational and social and open to all skill levels.

How to book

If you are just going to the park casually, playing on the playground, walking, or sitting on the grass, no reservations are required and the park is open to the public.

If you want to reserve an official picnic site, picnic shelter/platform, large event, or part of the park with an official permit on a specific date, you must obtain a permit.

Subway: HighPark Station (Line 2 – Bloor–Danforth): Closest station to the north entrances of the park (5–10 minute walk).

Keele Station (Line 2): About a 10–15 minute walk to the other side of the park.

Streetcar and Bus: The 506 Carlton streetcar goes to HighPark Loop (Parkside Drive).

Several TTC bus lines also serve the area around the subway stations and park entrances, including HighPark and Keele stations.
