Founded in 1924, The Badminton & Racquet Club of Toronto is a private, unique club in the heart of Midtown Toronto. The club is a small, intimate space that offers a blend of racquet sports, fitness and social activities—where members are close and receive personalized attention.
In the racquet sports section, there are a variety of facilities including standard badminton courts, tennis, squash, platform tennis, pickleball, table tennis and a Games Room.
Programs & Activities
- House Leagues: Indoor leagues (e.g. Squash Tuesday Night Singles House League) that are held in a friendly, competitive atmosphere. The level is suitable for beginners to intermediate players.
- Clinics: Training courses (Clínics) are available to improve racquet sport skills in various disciplines.
- Private & Semi-Private Lessons: Private or semi-private lessons are offered one-on-one or in small groups for more flexibility and focus.
- Tournaments & Club Championships: Formal tournaments, including Club Championships and Open Tournaments, that pit club and non-member players at various levels against each other.
- Summer Camps (for kids): Summer classes and camps for different ages—such as Ages 4–7 and Ages 8–14—with a focus on tennis, squash, pickleball, and badminton.
