North Kipling Community Centre

North Kipling Community Centre is located in Toronto’s Etobicoke area. It offers a wide range of services for all age groups—from preschoolers to adults and seniors—including sports activities, fitness classes, art programs, dance, group games like bocce, and even special annual camps and events. For older adults, classes like cardio, cardio dance, and yoga are offered—these programs are free and designed to promote mobility and health. The centre also has a dedicated Youth Zone, which includes classes like music making, cooking, urban gardening, and creative recreation programs. In addition, there are regular sports leagues and programs like volleyball on Sunday nights.

1. Basketball

  • 6-8 year olds: Classes on Saturdays from September 28 to November 23, 2024 (12-13) and Thursdays from October 3 to November 28, 2024 (17:45-18:45)
  • 9-12 year olds: Classes on Saturdays from 12:15-13:15 and Thursdays from 17:45-18:45 same time slot


2. Taekwondo

  • 6-18 year olds - Beginner: Wednesdays from 18:00-19:00 (October 2 to November 27, 2024)
  • 6-18 year olds - Advanced: Wednesdays from 19:00-20:00 same time slot


3. Racquet & Paddle Sports

Recreational Badminton (19 years and Higher):

  • Saturdays 09:30–11:30 (28 September to 23 November)
  • Thursdays 19:00–21:00 (3 October to 28 November)
  • Fridays 09:00–11:00 (4 October to 29 November)
  • Educational Badminton (Children):
  • 6–8 years: Mondays 17:15–18:15 (30 September to 2 December)
  • 9–12 years: Mondays 18:30–19:30 in the same time slot


4. Soccer

  • Children 6–8 and 9–12 years: Thursdays 16:30–17:30 from 3 October to 28 November


5. Cricket

  • Children 6–12 years: Fridays 16:00–17:00 (4 October to 29 November)
  • Teens 13–17 years: Fridays 17:00–18:00 in the same time slot


6. Multi-Sport for Children 4–5 years old

  • Mondays 16:00–17:00 (September 30 to December 2)
  • Wednesdays 16:30–17:30 (October 2 to November 27)

1. Create or activate an online account

  • Effective November 6, 2024, the City of Toronto is introducing a new system for registering for programs, reserving facilities, and purchasing subscriptions. If you already have an account in the old system (eFun), you will need to activate or create a new account; there is no automatic transfer.


2. Choose a booking type that suits your purpose

  • One-Time Booking: Suitable for events such as meetings, photo shoots, or simple use of the center's facilities. This type of booking can be made online.
  • Seasonal & League Booking: For regular use such as sports leagues, practices, or recurring programs. It is possible to reserve the field, hall, and necessary facilities.
  • Special Event Booking: You should use this type of booking if the event includes food sales or service, amplified sound, tents, or temporary structures.


3. Additional and Legal Information

  • The booking period for a one-day stay is usually between 2 and 14 days before the desired date (for sports facilities between 14 and 3 days before).
  • A receipt or confirmation of booking is required to use the facilities and in case of violation, the reservation may be canceled or subject to a fine.
