Griffin Bowl Complex in North Vancouver, British Columbia, is one of Canada's first skate parks, located in William Griffin Park. The park is particularly popular with skaters and BMX riders. Its main features include a concrete snake run that ends in a bowl, as well as numerous rails, ledges, and ramps to create exciting speed lines.

Nearby is the William Griffin Football Field, where high school teams such as the Carson Graham Eagles compete. The field also hosts major tournaments such as the Subway Bowl, which pits the top high school teams in British Columbia against each other.

Programs & Activities

1. Adult Skateboarding Classes: Harry Jerome Recreation Centre near Griffin Bowl offers adult skateboarding lessons. These classes are 45-minute sessions on Mondays from September 22 to December 8, 2025. The registration fee is CAD $150.37 per term. In these classes, experienced instructors will teach you the basics, and you can progress at your own pace.
2. Bowl Series Leagues and Tournaments: Griffin Bowl is one of the stops in the Bowl Series, which takes place at five of BC’s most famous skateboard parks. The series features five events at five legendary parks that showcase a variety of skateboarding skills. Entry is free, and there are prizes for all age groups.
3. Private and Group Lessons: For those interested in private or group lessons, GOSKATE School in North Vancouver offers classes. These classes include balance training, basic and advanced skateboarding techniques, and are held one-on-one or in small groups.
