The Windsor Bubble, as described on the NSGSC (North Shore Girls Soccer Club) website, is an indoor sports facility located at Windsor Secondary School in North Vancouver. The inflatable tent (or “bubble”) is approximately 30,000 square feet in size, and features a state-of-the-art artificial turf surface. The space is divided into three pads to allow for simultaneous use by different groups. During the fall and winter seasons, the club and its partner teams can rent the entire space or portions of it for practices, games, or indoor events. The primary focus of the complex is soccer, including girls’ leagues, women’s tournaments, an indoor adult league, and soccer skill development training for children and youth.

Programs & Activities

1. Girls League

• Mini’s (U4-U7): For ages 3-7, focused on the game, early introduction to soccer and physical activity.
• Foundations (U8-U10): For ages 7-9, with older rules and format, increasing the number of players on the field.
• Divisional Leagues (Recreational and Select): For ages U11-U18, with different levels — Recreational and more competitive (Select) teams with evaluation and progression.

2. NVSD Soccer Academy

• For high school students (Grades 8-12). Training in technical, tactical, physical conditioning, injury prevention, leadership and nutrition.

3. Women’s League / Women’s Programs

• Women’s league for players ages 16 and up; includes Premier and Select teams and options for those who want to play more competitive or more recreational soccer.

4. Adult Indoor League

• Men’s and Coed leagues held in an indoor bubble; levels vary based on player experience and ability.

5. Camps & Special Programs

• Summer Camps: Includes Mini’s Camp, Skills & Games Camp, Goalkeeper Camp, Pre-Season Camps, etc. for various age groups.
• Pro-D Day Camps: Short programs on days when school is closed (for various ages)

6. Low-Pressure/Universal Programs

• Soccer 4 Everyone: An adaptive program for players ages 6-16 regardless of skill level, with a focus on fun and building confidence.
• Morning Sweat Sessions: Morning training sessions on artificial turf that are more about fitness and conditioning, not necessarily a soccer match.
• 60+ Walking Soccer: Light soccer for older people who don't want to put in a lot of pressure, mostly walking and gentle movements inside the soccer ball.
