L'Amoreaux Community Recreation Centre
L'Amoreaux Community Recreation Centre is one of Toronto's largest sports and recreation centres, offering a variety of indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The centre has multi-purpose halls for activities such as basketball, volleyball, badminton and especially indoor football. The complex's outdoor fields are also designed for football and team sports, providing an ideal environment for training and competitions. In addition to football, classes and recreational programs are also held in disciplines such as fitness, yoga, skating and swimming. This centre is one of the most popular sports and family complexes in the area due to its variety of activities and convenient access.
Programs & Activities
- Racquet and Team Sports Reservations: The center offers reservations for activities such as badminton, basketball, soccer, tennis, and volleyball. Reservations are made through the eFun platform.
- Arts and Youth Programs: Activities such as arts and crafts, dance classes, including Line Tap are offered, especially classes for different age groups on Fridays. There are also programs suitable for children, teens, and adults, with largely free use.
- Outdoor Sports Facilities – Soccer League and Outdoor Space: Although the center does not directly organize a soccer league, the L’Amoreaux Sports Complex, located adjacent to the center, has outdoor soccer/football fields, baseball fields, and bike paths that can be reserved for leagues and teams.
- Drop-in and Free Classes: The center is known as a Free Center and offers programs such as swimming, fitness, skating, yoga, art and other classes for no or low cost. Additionally, some classes (such as dance) do not require prior registration and can be attended as a Drop-in.

- Gym and Multi-Purpose Spaces: The center is connected to the shared gym with Mary Ward Catholic High School and features a shared gym, multi-purpose room, preschool room, auditorium, music space, studio room, and lounge.
- Fitness Space: Includes a weight room and fitness/weight room equipped with basic equipment for regular workouts of various individuals.
- Sauna: One of the special features of this center is the presence of a sauna for public use.
- Elevator or Accessible Entrance: The center is designed to be fully wheelchair accessible and includes accessible entrance and parking for the disabled.
- Other public amenities: Elevators (if needed, listed in Accessibility), locker rooms, public restrooms, and surrounding green space — such as a park with usable walking paths and quiet open space surrounding the center (L'Amoreaux North Park) — are also available.

First, create or log in to your account by visiting the City of Toronto’s online registration and booking portal (Active Communities). Then, go to the “Reserve a Spot” or “Facility Booking” section, where you can find and book a venue, field or drop-in program, such as soccer, basketball or fitness. For activities like field reservations or drop-in classes, you can book online up to 14 days in advance—some sports, such as tennis, are usually available up to a week in advance. If your desired option is not available online, you can contact Park Bookings Customer Service or complete and submit a one-time booking form. Once your booking is confirmed, you have paid (if applicable) and submitted your request, you will receive a booking confirmation and can contact service during business hours if you need support or make changes to your booking.
